additional information on the Vancouver based radio show the Urban Renewal
Project.
The Urban Renewal Project is our means to share music, support the local
scene, and express different views on various cultural issues. Since its
creation in 2001, the 4 members of the crew have been strongly committed to
the promotion of Hip Hop culture, producing a quality radio show as an
alternative to the popular, overground programs that have flourished on
Vancouver's current radio airwaves.
Listeners can expect everything from the latest tracks, the classics, the
rare, and the obscure, to the giveaways, the current events, the info, and
the special features. Most importantly, listeners can expect to be
respected, involved, and entertained.
Mainstream Hip Hop should be like this.
